Annuals

Annuals are special to us and one of our favorites here at Kel Lake! We are so excited to share with customers our extended offerings of annuals, planters and hanging baskets we have available. Almost all of our annuals are grown on site by people who are passionate about them. We specialize in hanging baskets and have lovely moss baskets and other customized baskets available for pre-order.

Perennials

Perennials are they type of plants that return year after year in your garden and here at Kel Lake we are pleased to offer a great selection of sun, shade, vine and grass perennials. We also have native plants, FireSmart plants and water-wise plant options available.

Herb, Vegetable and Fruit Plants

What is better than fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden? Fruits, vegetables and our herbs are something we are very proud of at Kel Lake as all of our vegetable and herbs are grown on site. We are also pleased to carry a good selection of fruit plants throught the season. 

House Plants

We are excited and are passionate about our houseplants at Kel Lake. We carry a great selection of plants, cactus and succulents as well as everything you may need to take care of your plants. Our staff is knowledgeable and share a passion for our indoor plants. We are excited to share our selection with you and will have stock arriving weekly throughout our season.

Fabric

Landscape fabric can help keep moisture in the ground your garden weed free . We carry an assortment of quality fabric which you can purchase by the linear foot or by the roll. Please come into the store and one of our knowledge staff will help you select the best fabric for your project.

Soil

We have a wonderful selection of both bagged and bulk soil available for our customers needs. As a proud Nurseryland member we also carry a number of soils that are exclusive to Nurseryland garden centres. For bulk soils we have a loader on site to quickly get you filled up and on your way. We also carry a great variety of soil amendments to help your soil be the best it can be.

Mulch

Mulch is a lovely addition to your landscape design. We carry an array of mulch to define your home and garden.  Mulch is used to suppress weed growth, retain soil moisture and regulate soil temperatures all while providing a great look. We are proud to carry our classic black fine and regular mulch (which are our two most popular mulch products) as well as fir mulch.

Fertilizers

Fertilizers are essential for plant growth, providing vital nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. We carry a variety of fertilizers to keep your soil healthy and your plants thriving. We can happily assist you with purchasing the correct fertilizer for your needs. 

Trees

We love our trees at Kel Lake and offer a wide assortment of evergreen, deciduous and fruit trees (imagine picking your own fruit off your own tree’s – amazing!). We are also the proud supplier of the Lake Countree program which is a residential planting initiative developed to encourage citizens to help grow and preserve Lake Country's urban forest canopy. Bulbs

We have everything from dahlia’s to anemone to tulips and more! Come and check out our seasonal bulb display in the store and choose your favorite varieties and colors. We also carry a wide variety of garlic bulbs in the Fall.

Come and check out our assortment of indoor and outdoor containers, garden and watering tools,  fountains and garden decor. We are pleased to carry a mix of traditional and modern items to go with any style.  We have new items coming into the store regularly to coordinate with the changing seasons. From indoor décor to outdoor décor we have items that will bring a special touch to your home or office.
